    1. And that is why I do not buy common shares of mreits. The preferred contain enough risk for me and I do not need another layer on top of that.

    2. Good catch. This looks like a very painful circumstance.
      AGNC takes no credit risk, but the do take a lot of leverage risk.
      Lots of Agency Mortgage Backed Securities and lots of leverage.
