EarlyBird has posted information that the new Ford Motor Company (F) will begin to trade on Friday 8/26. This issue carries a 6.5% coupon.
The ticker will be F-D. It is likely that some brokers will not get the issue posted right away.
Also the new 6.2% fixed rate reset preferred from Keycorp will move onto the NYSE on Friday–ticker KEY-L. The issue is trading OTC now and is at $24.92.
Anyone know the ex-date for F-D? Thanks

Given that its older baby bonds F-C with 6% coupon and F-B with 6.2% coupon are trading mid/low $24s past week or so, these 6.5% coupon and longer to being callable may trade in mid/high $25s?
Ford Credit issuing callable $1000 notes — 5.55% for 4 years and 5.90 for 7 years.
You can buy the 6.50’s under $25.00. I would rather own the company than the credit corp.
I’m not up to date on Ford but I always had a sense that Ford Motor Credit was the primary profit center for Ford. In terms of where you are in the bankruptcy hierarchy with Ford vs Ford Motor Credit…..I’m not really sure.
